Local Connect
Our Local Connect program is designed to help our Yellow Ladybugs community find each other and build meaningful, safe, and informal connections.
It’s about creating opportunities for families and adults in our community to meet others nearby, share experiences, and form supportive networks.
For families – Local Connect
Local Connect gives families the chance to search for and connect with other Yellow Ladybug families in their local area.
Connections made through Local Connect are informal – think of them as a friendly catch-up or playdate between families who have chosen to be part of the program. These are not formal events run by Yellow Ladybugs.
Families who opt in will be guided through a short induction and provided with community guidelines to help keep meet-ups safe, inclusive, and enjoyable.
For adults – Local Connect Plus
Local Connect Plus is a space for autistic women and gender-diverse adults* in our community.
Members can connect based on location or shared interests, helping to build peer-to-peer support, friendships, and belonging. As with family connections, these are informal catch-ups between members and not official Yellow Ladybugs events.
Once you’ve opted in, you’ll receive a welcome email with full community guidelines. To ensure the safety of everyone involved, only those who read and agree to the guidelines will be granted access.
